Assura is to enhance its informatics offering by strengthening its partnership with DxCG, following two years of collaborative research and development.
This partnership brings together two leading edge and innovative companies to produce a world class informatics solution for patients. Assura works alongside GP practices to deliver pioneering health care. DxCG has analytic tools that will enable a more detailed assessment of health care needs in any particular community. By combining the detailed anonymised data available in primary care with the DxCG methodologies and software, local health care professionals will be better equipped to design and run community based services and improve health outcomes.
The partnership will embark upon a programme of work including: information for future admissions avoidance programmes, understanding and stratifying the population in terms of disease prevalence and severity, identification and management of long term conditions, as well as predicting future resource utilisation. This will involve the development of a jointly sponsored dedicated team to work closely with the Assura GP provider companies to optimise health outcomes.
